From trash to fashion. The students were encouraged to make something wearable out of items from their recycling bin. Many more kids participated than I expected. Maddie, however, was the most talked about with her newspaper skirt, Capri Sun bag, gum wrapper necklace, and her Mad Hatter hat. Unfortunately, even with the spirit of the day, she wasn't allowed to wear the hat. But she was happy with all of the gushing about her skirt.
