Maddie and Jordan's friend, Kern, have had this game of tag going since Jordan's birthday party.  She wrote him a note, he wrote one back, she texted him, he tagged her in the car when she wasn't looking, she posted this sign in his yard while he was napping . . . Kern, you're it!

Helping with a CAS goal.

Aditi set a CAS (Community and Service) goal to make a skirt.  I showed her how to make a simple elastic waistband skirt.  She did a great job and did it very quickly.

A Very Merry UnBirthday.

One of the many fun scenes from Jordan's birthday party -  20 kids and 900 sparklers.  They also played croquet, ladder ball, and just dance on the wii.  They also colored in Alice in Wonderland colorbooks and played with bubbles and play dough.  Great kids!!

It's a little stressful (because I want everything to be perfect for them), but I love to do this.  Serving breakfast to 96 hungry geniuses this morning made my day.

Shutter speed.

While the kids played wiffle ball in the front yard, I tried to master setting the shutter speed on my camera and getting a good shot.  I like this one of our neightbor with Maddie in the background because he's in focus and nothing else is.

Choreographed movement.

First Middle School Dance.

The thought of going to the dance was more fun than the actual dance was.  They called for a ride home 40 minutes after I dropped them off.
