One of our caterpillars emerged! I didn't really think we'd get to witness this metamorphosis since we didn't capture any of the 11 caterpillars that feasted on our carrot tops and the two chrysalises we found disappeared after a couple of days. Jordan happened across this newly emerged beauty this evening after dinner.

One of our caterpillars emerged! I didn't really think we'd get to witness this metamorphosis since we didn't capture any of the 11 caterpillars that feasted on our carrot tops and the two chrysalises we found disappeared after a couple of days.
