Unfortunately both Circuit City stores near us are closing. The girls found several DS games, Pete got a Tiger Woods golf game for the Wii, and I picked up Enchanted. Now if only we could find Jordan's DS - it's been missing since her diagnosis day.

Moses (or Jesus). 29/365
Moses reincarnated? Actually, I've been corrected - Jesus walked on water, Moses just parted the Red Sea. This picture didn't turn out quite as well as I wished it would have. Click on the photo for a better view. We drive past this pond everyday on our way to Jordan's school. Usually we enjoy the lemurs (er . . . I mean Canadian geese) gathered on the shores, but the last two days these seagulls have been showing off their unusual talent of walking on water. This made me laugh out loud, but my next thought was "what are seagulls doing this far inland?"

The Meltdown. 28/365
Maddie looked outside this morning at the trees in the back yard and said "WOW". They were so covered in ice that they were bent over. I took several pictures of the ice covered landscape and this was the picture that won the vote for posting on the 365 blog. This is an interesting "curly" willow tree that sits at the NW corner of our house. Seriously though, we want some snow!!

More Owls. 18/365
Jordan has been wanting to paint a mural on her wall since we moved in to this house last August. She finally began sketching her tree. While Jordan was working on hanging some pictures, Maddie added to the mural. This owl. It's a shame I waited until dark to take the photo. It sure would have looked a lot better.

Organized. 17/365
Today was the kids' turn to clean and organize. Jordan took care of her desk and Maddie to care of her nail polish. She even made a "key" with bottle numbers (which means she number labelled the bottles) and colors so that one would know what each polish would look like on ivory colored fingernails.

Friday Night Bowling. 16/365
Nicole has been coming home after school with Maddie every Friday since November. They usually play outside - wiffle ball, hide 'n seek, gymnastics, bike riding, etc. Today the temperatures were in the low teens. They wanted someone to pitch wiffle balls to them but neither Jordan nor I would venture out into the cold. Once Pete arrived home he said "no way" too. Wii baseball, tennis, and bowling is the next best thing!

Logistics. 15/365
This was going to be an interesting photo. We usually end up following behind dump trucks and various other work trucks on our drive to school. Today was different. We followed two logging trucks. Try taking a photo going 65 miles per hour down the highway while your subject is going at least ten miles faster than that. This is the result. Jordan was actually the photographer since I didn't think it a good idea to take my hands off of the steering wheel.
Today's blog title comes from a funny story "out of the mouths of babes". We're in the car and Jordan sees a truck with this word on it and asks "what is log-I-stics?" Oh, and one more thing, she was 13 when she asked this question.

Monkey'n Around. 14/365
I spent a great portion of my day organizing. I reorganized Maddie's whole closet which was quite an undertaking. She thinks jeans go in the drawer with the short-sleeved shirts. She also thinks jeans go in the drawer with the shorts and in the drawer with the sweaters. No wonder she always tells me she doesn't have any jeans. Not to mention she wears the same three shirts over and over again because she can't find the others underneath the jeans!! My other organization project was in Jordan's room. She had already organized her frog collection very nicely. Today I moved her monkey collection to the other side of the shelf from the frogs off of a table that was just taking up too much space in her too small room. Maybe now she won't feel so claustrophobic in there!
