See that forest behind him? I think it helps to have a "preserve" in our backyard. We see so many birds - we fill two platform feeders daily with songbird mix, one thistle sock weekly for the finches (dozens of yellow and house finches visit daily), and one hummingbird feeder weekly (the hummers feed on our deck while we're outside eating dinner - it's so neat to watch them hover over the feeder).
We look forward to seeing this guy and his five friends everyday.
How do you get so lucky and attract all those birds? I can't even get a freakin' Oriole!
