This year our garden grows . . . without fire ants. We've been unsuccessful with our gardening efforts for the past eight years due to those pesky fire ants in Texas, but we kept planting anyway. This is a photo of our radishes just pushing through the earth. We can't wait to see the rest of the seeds sprout. This year we planted radishes, carrots, beans, peas, cucumbers, yellow squash, and zuchini seeds. We also planted tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, jalapenos, and strawberries.
